Poste proposé : Cocoa Horizon Program Coordinator

  • Contribute to strengthening the Cocoa Horizons program, with a focus on creating synergies and driving impact on the ground
  • Develop the Yearly Action Plan jointly with the local and Corporate team, challenge and follow up with the local teams the execution of those agreements
  • Ensure efficient collaboration with and in between the different stakeholder (i.e. Sourcing, Sustainability, and Monitoring / reporting teams)
  • Monitor the budget and progress on KPI’s assigned to origins and support on the monthly / quarterly reporting
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to synthesize and assess data and local needs
  • Lead projects in collaboration with internal and external business partners to advance sustainability
  • Support engagement with key stakeholders to promote the program and contribute towards 2025 targets, including participating on relevant multi-stakeholder groups and task forces
  • Prepare and ensure a smooth process when third party verification takes place (traceability, data, premium payments, impact measurement, etc)
  • Put in place a reporting tool and frame for operational and financial KPIs
  • Develop a marketing strategy able to ensure good adoption of the COH program by suppliers.

    Required Academic & Technical Qualifications

  • Qualification Master’s degree or equivalent in business and administration, project management, social studies, agronomic engineering or any other equivalent degree relevant for the role
  • Experience minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, management of organizations, social and development programs, agronomy, agriculture or sustainability
  • Essential Experience And Knowledge

  • Knowledge of program management,
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations,
  • Fluent in French with some knowledge of English and local languages is preferred,
  • Experience working with farmers and rural communities is a must,
  • Understanding of the cocoa supply chain in Cote d’Ivoire is highly preferred,
  • Ability to travel up-country.

  • Economic / engineering / Agronomic background,
