As a Biofire Africa Head, your primary purpose will be to achieve the regional Biofire budget (sales budget (sales, margin, contribution) - and marketing budget by driving successfully the implementation of the Biofire Operations strategy.
In this role, you will need to optimize the sales performance by developing the sales & marketing team competences & challenging the Commercial Operations organization.
You will also be in charge of developing a marketing strategy for Biofire products promoting and supporting reinforcement of a client-oriented business model and comprehensive solutions offer in order to contribute to company competitiveness and successful development.
Achieve the regional budgeted sales growth, implementing the Biofire Commercial Operations strategy to achieve sales, revenue & profit targets and lead the development of strategic lines across market segments, through direct selling or distributors.
Monitor price policy, conditions of sale, and manage DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) with rigor.
Lead the annual sales budget process. Plan and follow up on sales reports by consolidating salesforce regional data & forecasts;
ensure that market data are routinely and accurately tracked & updated.
Define a 5-year marketing client-oriented strategy for Biofire in line with the global vision of the company : market research, sales forecasting, clients’ needs study, new products, and solutions development and commercializing planning, etc.
Contribute in company transformation in a client-oriented organization by promoting new commercials offers (service contracts, training paths ) and ready solutions and creating links between clients and R&D.
Propose strategies to the VP Africa that is based on new opportunities and customer needs liaising closely with global Biofire teams.
Translate strategies into key actions and tactics ensuring the Biofire teams have the right support for robust implementation.
Lead operational marketing activity : coordinate product communication and promotion, the launching of new products advertising campaigns, sales analysis.
Support the commercial team with client negotiation and products promotion
Drive the company business model transformation in terms of marketing : harmonization, costing and promotion of the offer of business services (service contracts accompanying commercialized projects).
Drive market access activities to facilitate the adoption of new and innovative products for which the market has to be developed and reimbursement / financing has to be secured.
Ensure that the company quality procedures are followed by staff and that the company quality objectives are understood & respected.
Coordinate with the Bio Fire team the most adequate business approach, by ensuring prioritization of targeted markets / accounts profiles and commercial action for budget revenues achievement.
